Natural Awakenings Charlotte

Carolina Thread Trail Hosts Annual National Trails Day Events

Be a part of our region’s largest celebration of trails and the great outdoors. Carolina Thread Trail will spread the National Trails Day fun and exercise across North and South Carolina with a variety of free guided hikes and bike rides. Events start as early as 8 a.m. on June 1 and continue throughout the day at multiple locations in Greater Charlotte.

Program locations are dependent on which hike or bike ride participants choose to attend, and specific information is available upon registration.

Carolina Thread Trail hosts this annual celebration of National Trails Day every June, bringing people together to enjoy nature by experiencing trails. In a time when people are living so much of their lives online, this is an ideal opportunity for people to reconnect with each other and the wonder of nature.
