Intro to Yoga Series

join Brooke and learn all about the foundational aspects of yoga. This four week series is perfect for the brand new yogi or those looking to get back to the basics. In this safe environment, students will learn a brief history of yoga, explore the many benefits a yoga practice can yield and have the space to ask any questions that might arise.
Participants will gain an understanding of foundational yoga poses; including their names, alignment and modifications. Sun Salutations will be broken down and the proper breath will be taught to support each student as they learn how to flow and carefully build strength as well as increase flexibility. Each week will build upon the last and by the end of the series, students will have the knowledge and confidence to practice in any of our classes.
