The Smell of Money: Film Screening and Discussion

You’re invited to a special community screening of “The Smell of Money,” the story of a community’s fight for justice against factory farming in eastern NC. The screening will be followed by an interactive Q&A panel discussion.

Join CleanAIRE NC on Sunday, October 9 for a special screening of The Smell Of Money, a film that takes a hard look at the pork industry’s impacts on eastern NC communities. The documentary weaves together stories from Duplin County families across generations living with air and drinking water contaminated by pig waste, who ultimately rally together and fight for their right to environmental justice.

The film will be followed by an interactive Q&A discussion focused on potential solutions. Tickets are free but space is limited, so reserve your seats now.
