Unity of Charlotte is holding an inspirational Rededication Ceremony entitled “We Rise by Lifting Others” at 7 p.m. on May 18. All are welcome. At this event, Unity of Charlotte will rededicate itself to its sacred mission to nurture a deep, mature experience ofGod through the practice of Unity principles and will officially install Rev. Marty Bacher as its Senior Minister.

Music will be provided by Greg James, Leah Licht-Palmer and the Unity Festival Choir. A dessert reception will follow.

Beloved for his ability to “call it like it is”, Rev. Bacher has ministered with wisdom and wit for nearly 30 years. A sought after speaker, he employs the timing of a comedian and the insight of a sage. He composes an environment of inspiration, humor and support, and moves his audience from laughter to self-reflection. He was selected as Unity of Charlotte’s new minister last December to lead the church as it moves fully into a mission-centric, small group model of ministry.
