Organic Harvest Raises the Bar for Organic Shopping

Jan 29, 2019 04:06PM

Organic Harvest Community Grocery & Café, which opened last October, is committed to providing customers with the highest-quality organic and natural groceries, produce, natural meats, bulk goods, nutritional supplements, beer and wine. There’s also a full-service café providing smoothies, sandwiches, salads and a rotating menu from the hot bar. Category manager Darren Viscount says, “Our goal is to support the local community. We strive to offer exceptional customer service and make the world a better place.” The more than 20 team members are knowledgeable, friendly and trained in natural remedies.

The store in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood is the company’s first outside of Birmingham, Alabama, and brings with it a reputation for knowledgeable and helpful employees and high-quality products that meet strict company standards for ingredients.

The company provides customers with the best shopping experience by offering the best products, unequalled service and helpful resources that support healthier and happier lives. Other offerings include a full selection of natural supplements and beauty products, vegetarian, vegan and paleo options, medicinal herbs, healthy grab-and-go foods and a fresh foods department.

“We owe our success to high-quality ingredient standards, passionate employees and support of the community,” says Viscount. “When you shop at Organic Harvest, you can rest assured we’ve read the labels for you. We source fresh, local and organic foods whenever possible. All our products are thoroughly researched and evaluated. Our foods will never contain artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners, high-fructose corn syrup, added hormones, parabens or hydrogenated fats. We always put the health of our customers and our communities first.”

Upcoming events include Sip N Shop wine and cheese tasting from 1 to 4 p.m., February 9; and Veg Out food tasting, featuring vegetarian and vegan foods, from 1 to 4 p.m., March 23.

Organic Harvest Market is located at 1330 Central Ave., in Charlotte. For more information, call 980-299-5470 or visit OHGrocery.com.
