Managing the Mind - A Journey into Meditation
Meditation workshop that will explore a variety of practices together with gentle movement and vibrant breadth (pranayama) in an interactive and collaborative environment where all are welcome, and no previous meditation experience is necessary.

Ancient Yogic texts tell us that we have the ability to calm our minds and eliminate stress and anxiety through the practice of meditation. Led by Keni House (RYT-500) this workshop will explore a variety of meditation practices together with gentle movement and vibrant breadth (pranayama) in an interactive and collaborative environment where all are welcome, and no previous meditation experience is necessary.
What you will learn:
- Understanding the mind (in the context of ancient texts)
- The benefits of meditation Various meditation techniques, so you can select the one that resonates with you.
- Pranayama (breathwork) as preparation for meditation
- How to set yourself up for a consistent daily meditation practice
Japa meditation Mala, a recorded guided meditation (sent via email) and handouts are included. In addition, to facilitate an ongoing meditation practice there will be 4 weekly community connects & meditation via Zoom. Space is limited. Register and pay to secure your spot.
