Overeaters Anonymous Hosts Summer Social In-Person Workshop in the Charlotte Area

Overeaters Anonymous (OA) will host a free Summer Social In-Person Workshop, at which members of the public can enjoy an afternoon of games and fellowship as well as learn more about the program generally, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on May 17 at Grace Presbyterian Church, in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
This event provides a fun way for community members to learn about and engage with Overeaters Anonymous and its offerings.
Overeaters Anonymous offers resources and community to anyone that wants to stop eating compulsively. It provides a program of recovery from compulsive overeating, food restricting and other obsessive food behaviors using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA, which are patterned after those of Alcoholics Anonymous. In addition to this and other events held throughout the year, several in-person meetings take place every week throughout the Charlotte regionto provide continual fellowship and support to those who suffer.
Location: 2955 SC-160, Fort Mill. For more information, visit PiedmontIntergroup.org/oa-in-person-meetings/.
