Kamau Kokayi, a physician who has practiced holistic primary care, addressing all health conditions and chronic conditions, for 35-plus years in New York and in Los Angeles, now has a Charlotte base at 726 East Boulevard. After getting involved in holistic medicine while attending the Yale School of Medicine in the 1980s—including writing his thesis on physics and medicine and the role of consciousness in determining health outcomes, as well as the science of bioenergetics and its relationship to acupuncture—he moved through his family practice residency while concurrently studying homeopathy, physics and other cultural expressions of healing and health care.
