Mama Bessie's Place, in Charlotte, is inviting customers to enjoy shopping for spiritual supplies for the holidays along with preparing for rituals for the full moon on January 3, 2026, with a series of discount days this month. Reductions on regular costs for new as well as already reduced merchandise will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each Saturday of the month—5 percent on December 6, 10 percent on December 13, 15 percent on December 20 and 20 percent on December 27.

Since 2007, the emporium has grown to become the area’s one stop, go-to shop for all spiritual, religious, New Age and metaphysical supplies. The staff also offers suggestions on the best way to use purchases to help one move forward on their spiritual journeys.

The ownership takes pride in having excellent customer service, keeping prices as low as reasonably possible and maintaining a positive and uplifting atmosphere, adding that visitors sometimes get lost in the wide variety of items that they try to keep in stock. They also speak Spanish.
