Join us in May for all of the 600 Festival events, right here in Cabarrus, Iredell and Mecklenburg Counties.
The festivities kick off on May 3rd with Movies on the Campus. Join us for an evening watching Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet on the big screen at 6 p.m. in Veterans Park in downtown Kannapolis.
On May 4th, children of all ages can build a race car from the zucchini vegetable at the Zucchini 600. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and races begin at 12 noon. You can find us in the kids area at Jiggy with the Piggy on the NC Research Campus in downtown Kannapolis.
On Thursday, May 16th, join us from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Concord for the Haulers on Union Parade & Fan Fest presented by Freightliner. Union Street between Cabarrus & Corban Avenues comes alive when the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Haulers parade through historic downtown Concord. The fan fest hosts music from Too Much Sylvia, show cars, games and an appearance by reigning NASCAR Cup Champ, Joey Logano.
Head over to the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville on Tuesday, May 21st for the Little 600. NASCAR drivers will compete for money, trophies and bragging rights in the fleet of rental go karts.
Capping off the month of May is Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola, May 23-25 in Uptown Charlotte. Tryon Street is the home for the event for the past 25 years. Come check out race cars, music, games, interactive displays, free goodies and guest appearances from 12 noon - 8 p.m. Then turn your attention to Romare Bearden Park and enjoy music from Corey Smith, Brothers Osborne and Styx. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music lasts until 11 p.m. Tickets range from $0-$25.
