Celebrate History and Culture at Dances of India
Central Piedmont Community College will present Dances of India, featuring internationally acclaimed performer and choreographer Dr. Maha Gingrich and her group, starting at 4 p.m. on April 21 at the Dale F. Halton Theater in the campus’s Overcash Center.
Celebrating the history and culture of India, the 16th annual event will be highlighted by a large ensemble of dancers showcasing the 3,000-year-old classical and folk dances of the country.
The show’s signature dance, Unity in Diversity, will feature several international dance styles set to live music.
