Natural Awakenings Charlotte

Lake Norman Spirit Fair at Davidson Ice House Restaurant

The Kent-Cook Institute at The Nook will present the Lake Norman Spirit Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 9 at the historic Ice House Restaurant, in Davidson, an ideal setting for a gathering of spirits, energy healers, mystery, magic, and inspiring connections and friends. The event, hosted by the restaurant owner and outstanding chef Jenny Brulé, will feature the most senior experienced teachers, readers and healers that grace The Nook with their knowledge, skills and understanding of the precepts of the metaphysical world.

The event will bring together a beautiful and diverse community, expanding thoughts, insightful and enriching experiences and personal, spiritual evolution. Attendees can order the tasty morsels that the restaurant serves daily.

Brulé develops recipes for national and regional magazines including Cooking Light, Shape and Fitness, and is the on-air chef for Carolina’s largest NBC affiliate WCNC. She is also a regular on ABC Charleston and The Food Network. Having lunch at the Spirit Fair promises to be a perfect delight; built in 1922, the Ice House is a six-ton ice facility that served Davidson, Mooresville and Charlotte until the advent of refrigerators. And, yes, it is haunted!
