Goat Yoga Season Begins in Concord

Laura Denyes, certified yoga instructor with Wish We Had Acres, will offer a fourth season of goat yoga beginning at 5:30 p.m. on June 9 and continuing on the second Sundays of each month through October at Dover Vineyards, in Concord, North Carolina. Our area’s original provider of goat yoga, with participants being able to do mountain poses next to a goat that brings new meaning to one’s yoga practice, will also provide wine tastings at the end of each class.

“There is nothing better than goat noses interrupting yoga poses,” says Denyes. “All goat yoga is laid back, beginner- and family-friendly. We also offer a traditional slow flow yoga class to enjoy the outdoors and share the space with the animals. Get in some good stretches, take in the fresh air and snuggle with our adorable baby goats!”

Cost: $15. Location: 3600 Concord Pkwy. S. For more information or to register, email Laura at [email protected] or visit WishWeHadAcres.com.
