The eighth annual Charlotte Vegfest, a manifestation of the explosion of veganism and a great opportunity to meet people actively making our area a more vegan-friendly place, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 7 at the Park Expo Center’s Freedom Hall.

The event will feature nationally recognized expert speakers highlighting the health and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet and lifestyle, a chef demo station, its largest-ever food court and a panel on inclusivity and the vegan movement. This free and family-friendly event will bring together thousands of people from all walks of life to celebrate healthy, sustainable and compassionate living for everyone.

The first 200 people who enter get a free goodie bag. Organizers are expecting 4,000 attendees this year and are welcoming hundreds of vendors and speakers.
