Sep 29, 2019 06:39PM ● By Shannon McKenzie

Movement Dialogues, LLC, is presenting a free introduction to Child’Space for families as well as professionals working with infants and their families from 7 to 8:15 p.m. on October 17, followed by complimentary sessions and classes for parents/caregivers and their infants from birth to independent walking from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 18 and 19, in Charlotte. Attendees will discover how to make tummy time fun; explore options for reaching milestones like sitting, crawling and walking; understand how to promote early language and fine motor skills; and deepen bonding and social and emotional growth.

The Child’Space Method provides both individual and group sessions that offer a support for young parents including developmental movement lessons, instruction and practice on quality of touch and observation skills to support their baby’s development from a strength-based perspective, all at the pace of the individual child.

International Child’Space trainer Barbara Leverone, MA, GCFP, is a Movement Educator with 25-plus years of experience in the Feldenkrais Method. She holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with advanced training and supervision in Infant Mental Health. Complimentary sessions and classes will continue during the Child’Space training program that begins June 2020.
